Madrid ❌ Rome ❌ should Milos skip Roland Garros?

No one wants to skip a major but for Milos Raonic it might seem like the right thing to do.

The right knee is still a problem for the former Wimbledon finalist who we haven’t seen since his straight sets defeat to Kyle Edmund in Miami and now we probably won’t see Milos until Roland Garros.

There is a possibility that the 28 year old could turn up at Roland Garros without any clay court tournaments under his belt and with a knee problem jumping from hard to clay and to grass courts make no sense which is why I think Milos should skip it.

If Milos does skip Roland Garros we will probably not see the Canadian until Queens Club which begins on the 17th of June where his usual Wimbledon warm-up takes place but I have also heard a wildcard in Eastbourne the week after could be late in the pipeline however he does have points to defend in Stuttgart the week before Queens so I doubt that will happen.

This could be the second year running he misses the second major of the year and the third time in five years he doesn’t play in Paris which right now I think would be a good decision for the Canadian who hasn’t got anything to lose from missing the tournament.
