Toni Nadal to stop coaching Rafael Nadal at the end of the season

After working together throughout the whole of Rafael Nadal’s career it has been announced that Toni Nadal is stepping down from his position as coach to the 14 time Grand Slam champion.

This isn’t a split as such, Toni is to take up more of a coaching role at the tennis academy which Rafa opened last year.

The Spaniard made his first Grand Slam final since 2014 last month and is looking sharp and fit once again. He currently also has good friend, former doubles partner and former world number one Carlos Moya on his team after a stint with Milos Raonic last season.
