It was announced this evening that Novak Djokovic and Boris Becker have split. The former world number one enjoyed some of his most successful years of his career with Becker court side but since winning Roland Garros for the first time Novak has fallen short of expectations hence the reason he is no longer the world number one.
After winning Roland Garros he suffered an early exit at Wimbledon, Rio Olympics, Paris, Beijing and of course those final to defeats to Wawrinka (US Open) and Murray (World Tour Finals).
It has not yet been announced why they had split but Boris Becker took to Twitter to say it was the time of his life.
Ever present Marian Vajda who has been part of the team since 2006 is still there but it will be interesting to see what addition Novak could make to his team as he looks to get back to winning ways and world number one.
