Andy Murray picks up title No.40 in Beijing!

British number one Andy Murray today notched up his 40th title of his career and his 60th win of 2016 with a solid and aggressive performance against a determined Grigor Dimitrov who did get off to a shaky start with two double faults.

Murray set the tone quite early in the match with two stunning passing winners with Dimitrov at the net in the opening couple of games and after those double faults in the opening game which looked like nerves Murray never looked back.

The second was closer but Murray again found his way to get ahead but surprisingly serving for the match was broken to love with the Bulgarian winning 10 points in a row but Murray excelled in the tie-breaker to win 6-4 7-6 against the Bulgarian.

Murray now moves on to Shanghai and is expected to plain in Vienna ahead of travelling to Paris before the World Tour Finals in London with Murray just under 1600 points behind the world number one Novak Djokovic who returns to action next week in Shanghai!
