Novak Djokovic has once again shown he is the man to beat and the scary thing is that it looks like no one can beat him!
The world number one breezed past Roger Federer in the semi-finals and was at it once again in Melbourne with a straight sets win against Andy Murray in the final.
Novak strolled to take the first set 6-1 against the brit but the second and third set were much more of a contest with the Serb just about edging them 7-5 7-6 but nothing was going to stop him claiming his 11th Grand Slam title, 6th Australian Open and his 5th Grand Slam win in the last 7 majors played!
It’s scary but brilliant the dominance of Djokovic right now. I have to be honest I’m not his biggest fan but I respect how brilliant he is and he may not have the crowd always on his side but you can learn so much from his game and he will continue to get better I believe.
I love watching him play, he’s so ruthless and such a great athlete as well as technically the best player on the tour. When people talk about the greatest male player of all time we hear two names thrown about, Nadal and Federer for me it’s Novak!
Congratulations on another incredible tournament and here’s too many more trophies in 2016 where Roland Garros and Olympic Golf are missing from his trophy cabinet.
