Will anyone stop Novak Djokovic claiming his 6th title in Melbourne?

Melbourne has been a happy hunting ground for Novak Djokovic throughout his career with 5 of his 10 Grand Slam titles coming at the Australian Open. Novak has a very impressive win percentage of 89.29 at the Australian Open and since the beginning of 2011 has only lost one match at Melbourne Park to Stanislas Wawrinka in the quarter finals back in 2014 but is the world number set for his 5th title win in 6 years down under?

Novak is the only play to have won the title 5 times in the Open Era and is one behind Roy Emerson on 6 Australian Open titles and with the world number one looking in a league of his own and unstoppable once again you wouldn’t be surprised to see him lift the Norman Brookes Challenge Cup for a 6th time in 9 years!

Novak ran the show in Doha and was pretty immense against Rafael Nadal and he had the answers to everything Rafa threw at him. Roger had a bit of a slip up against Raonic who to his credit did play an exceptional game form the first to the final ball Andy Murray hasn’t played a full tournament as of yet with the Brit participating in Hopman Cup but did secure some good wins against Zverev and De Schepper but was defeated by Kyrgios in Perth.

The dominance of Novak since the start of 2014 has been brilliant. He has taken his game to the next level and since the start of 2014 has played 162 matches and won 148 of them and when you consider the players he is up against a lot some of the best of all time he continues to dominate and get better.

I can’t see anyone stopping Novak in Melbourne especially over five sets unless he has a really bad day and they have been few and far between over the last few years!
