Andy Murray was in doubles action today with Colin Fleming who he has teamed up with in the past and in Davis Cup for Great Britain and faced a tough opening round challenge against Peya and Soares.
The early break in the match went in the favour of Peya and Soares as they broke for a 2-1 lead and then continued to dominate the set from there on in as they broke Murray and Fleming for a second time to go up a double break at 4-1 before being broken back for 2-4.
The British pair then quickly found themselves 0-30 down and then 15-40 down and were immediately broken back with Bruno Soares and Alexander Peya taking a 5-2 lead and serving for the set!
Peya and Soares served out the set for 6-2 but would Murray and Fleming recover?
The set got off to a good start with a hold of serve but quickly the set fell away as Peya and Soares went on to win five games in a row to find themselves 6-2 5-1 up in just over an hour. Fleming and Murray held for 2-5 and Peya and Soares after 65 minutes would serve for the match.
Peya and Soares had now worries serving out the match to love to secure a 6-2 6-2 win against the British pair.
