WTA Finals Day 8 – The Winners Take It All!

Hingis and Mirza dominate in Singapore final!

One way traffic is the phrase I’d use to describe the final as the world number one doubles team strolled to their 22nd win in a row and 10th title of 2015 with a 6-0 6-3 win against Garbine Muguruza and Carla Suarez Navarro!

To go unbeaten in 22 matches is unthinkable but to go unbeaten in the 5 matches at the WTA Finals with so much at stake with high intensity levels and not to even drop a set in these five matches is simply unbelievable!

It really has been the perfect year for the two players winning 9 of their 10 titles together including Wimbledon, US Open and of course the big one in Singapore. Can anyone stop them next season?

Radwanska masterclass in Singapore!

Agnieszka Radwanska put on an incredible performance to secure the win in Singapore for the first time and claim her biggest career title.

She started the match so well and found herself 5-1 up in the set before sealing it 6-2 with some incredible points from the Pole who is one of the best, if not the best at coming up with these incredible points.

The second set looked like following in the same script of the first but from 1-3 down Petra suddenly got going hitting more winners than errors to take the set 6-4.

Petra quickly found herself 2-0 up and it looked like potentially being a missed opportunity for Radwanska however she wasn’t done there and continued to fight back and got the deserved win breaking Kvitova to love to seal the biggest win of her career!!
