Simona Halep fights back from 0-6 0-1 down to beat Agnieszka Radwanska!

After about 28 minutes the match looked over and I was worried for Halep. The world number one three wasn’t serving well at all and ended up producing a number of unforced errors losing 7 games in a row against Radwanska.

At this point it was going to need something special to turn the match around and Halep certainly provided that with a stunning comeback after her epic win v Kerber the day before. Halep took a 3-1 lead in the set and her game began to come back to her however she was pulled back to 3-3 and fought from 30-0 down on the Radwanska serve to break and go on to win the set 6-3. This was the turning point in the match that 7th game of the second set was massive.

Simona went on to win eight games in a row to then take full control of the match with a 0-6 6-3 5-0 lead and then went on to take the set 6-1 to advance to the semi-finals where she will play Sara Errani but will be hoping for a better performance from the beginning tomorrow!
